First time there for a car service recall and I went around 8:30am. No one was at the front desk to help or greet. I waited about 5 min wandering around hoping a worker will come and help. People in their individual office did see me go in but did not approach me. A gentleman finally guided me towards the service offices. The gal was super friendly and was clear about all their prices. They were a bit high but that’s all dealers I guess. The wait time was exactly what they had said—2 hrs. Most importantly my car was well taken care of.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Autonation Honda. Each time my experience was great. They always have me the best deal they possibly could. They always kept me up to date with what was going on with my new car and made sure it would meet my standards. Only thing I noticed, after it was to late to do anything about, was that the first trade in off they made me for my 2016 Honda Civic was higher than the second offer they made me about a month later when my new car finally arrived. Other than that my experience was great. I wasn’t pressured into any additional options like gap insurance or anything like that.

They don’t over pressure you either way, so I pick and choose what I have them do vs what I do myself. Got an oil change. Tech didnt tighten down my oil filter. Oil sprayed all over my car. Luckily, caught it before i completely ran it out of oil. Was treated very well at first. They cleaned my car. Fresh oil change, ( after just receiving one) Was told, instead of reimbursing me for the oil i bought, Dave, the manager, said he would give me a free 30,000 mile oil service. Heck, that was better than the 10 bucks i paid for the oil. No brainer. Well, i hit 30,000 miles. Went in for an oil change today and was treated very rudely. Dave acted as if I was totally out of my mind, asking for what he offered me. Told me he gave me enough freebies. Your tech screwed up! You cleaned my car to get all the oil off. As for the oil change, that was you. I just got an oil change before that. Not like i benefited from one being done again, besides putting back what i lost. Up until today, i was happy with them. Not anymore. Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic service center experience! First, I called a couple of weeks in advance to discuss recommended service for my vehicle (2013 Honda Odyssey). Anthony was kind, knowledgable and helpful, and we scheduled my service appointment. The service started on time, the reception was kind and instructive, and the technician kept my service advisor informed of any concerns (and Anthony then kept me informed). Service options and prices were provided, and, to my pleasant surprise the car was washed following the service. Prices were fair, customer service was excellent, and the waiting area was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall five star experience for outstanding customer service, timely technician work, and fair pricing. I will most certainly take my Honda to this service center in the future, and I absolutely recommend anyone interested in getting quality Honda care to do the same. Was a fan initially of AutoNation Honda; however, have been less than impressed with their service department and their salesmen keep sending me messages for buying my Passport back but ignore us when we are at the dealership. My wife took the vehicle in for service yesterday. No one assisted her into the bay, she pulled up and looked to the associates standing there for some kind of sign to pull up or park it...they waited until she turned off the car and exited...then told her to pull up more. Charged us $65 for a "B" inspection and identified on the paperwork that they ensured all tires were 34psi...they act like these vehicles don't tell you the tire pressures, not a single tire at 34 making me wonder about everything else they "inspected". Have discussed with them before about runny paint imperfection on the back of the vehicle and were pretty much told not Honda's problem. Asked about the HondaLink app and why the remote start option isn't showing up. Was told 2019 Passports don't do that and would require a major part replacement. Honda site and videos found say Passports are equipped...service department obviously not smart on it. No complimentary car wash like we've received before and like at every other Honda dealer we've been to, as we've been long time loyal Honda owners. A huge deal? No, but why pay ridiculous dealership service prices if you're not going to get the small extras?? Not impressed with AutoNation anymore. Wasn't going to mess with it anymore and just move on, but now they are sending me things begging for a review...well...here you go.

I didn’t have a pleasant experience. I was heavily pushed into a deal to find out there was no deal and not with a direct response, but rather a lack thereof. I have a preapproval through the lender and yet they can’t seem to make it work. Upon a response to an email from the general manager I advised of my poor experience. Justin failed to be empathetic and instead said selling a car for 10k to pay 3k to sell the car you paid 10k to buy doesn’t make sense…. The numbers he used are for hypotheticals but why did you all push for me to buy the car then? My car mind you that I’m attempting to trade in I just bought from them three months ago. To boot their vehicle a 18 Accord has been on their lot coming on two months and they just lowered a thousand bucks after blowing me off. Multiple credit inquiries, time and effort later with no amicable results. It’s unfortunate to have aggressive salesman and lack of integrity and follow through in this day and age.

I bought a 2016 Audi Q5 from Honda in August. It started making a grinding noise a month later, so I took it to Audi to diagnose. The axels needed replacing. Audi took 2 months to tell me that the limited warranty did not cover the repair because they sold it as-is to Honda. Once Honda heard this, their service team immediately told me they would cover the repair and parts for free. John and his team were so polite and kind and made it easy. When my appointment got delayed due to a member getting Covid, they gave me a brand new Honda Pilot as a loaner. The repair was completed sooner than expected, and I was back in my car within 2 days. Thanks guys!

PLEASE BEWARE!! If I could I would give them a negative. They are trying to charge $2500 over the msrp on NEW Honda's. They also lied, and said the other Honda store's are all charging $5000 over, and they are ONLY charging $2500. Sadly they're the ones picking and choosing if they charge you $2500 or $5000 but hey, stop in, spin the wheel, and see what your OVERCHARGE will be!! Please be careful, we may be in a pandemic but look around before letting them charge you more. CDA Honda is charging the actually msrp & you'll get a lifetime warranty, instead of a lifetime of regrets for dealing with these lies and scams.

We didn't have a terrible experience buying our Honda Odyssey here, but, two days after we purchased the van, it wouldn't start, we had several weird warning signals flashing on the screen, and we couldn't get the side door to close after opening it. Our sales person was helpful over the phone, but we had to jump the battery and drive an hour and a half to have them look at it, where they ultimately replaced the battery. I can't understand how the battery isn't something that comes up on their 100+ point inspection that they talked about so much during the sales process. Something like that should definitely not happen when buying a "certified" used car. So, hopefully the new battery is the only problem and it runs fine going forward, but it bugs me that there was no attempt to do anything to make up for the problem in the first place (e.g., they fixed the problem, hopefully, but we are the ones who had to waste 5 hours or so driving and waiting for the repair, adding 150 miles on the van, etc.). In my opinion, companies that make such a costly mistake should do something to make it right (money back, upgrade, etc.). I'll update the review if the battery isn't the issue and we continue to have problems.

This company ignores the state masks mandates. No employees wear masks here. When I got my car serviced there were sick people coughing and sneezing all over the showroom. Someone was even smoking in the bathroom. Even Idaho will show you more respect and cleanliness than this place. Don’t go here.

Auto Nation was perfect. They were the only Honda dealer in Eastern WA who had the truck I was looking for. They offered me 4000 more for my truck than the nearest competitor. Sam was very knowledgeable about Honda trucks at every level. They reserved my truck for me until I was able to drive to Spokane from Pasco on a Saturday. The transaction was completed smoothly. I had my brakes done there last year. Recently my brakes were surging badly so I took it back to have the rotors resurfaced again. Not only did they resurface my rotors they also replaced the brake pads all under warranty due to the previous brake pads having caused the problem. Not everyone would have done this. It was alright. They told me they would gas up my new car before I drove it off the lot. It was at half tank. And now the oil light is on. So…. They didn’t charge the oil either? Usually when I bought a vehicle in the past, the oil is freshly changed and a full tank of gas. Like they said they were gonna do. Now i am curious on what other corners did they cut on this sale? Experience was decent, the reason why they got 3 stars was because the sales guy. He was great. The only reason I am leaving a review is because they emailed me to remind me to leave a review.

I purchased a used vehicle from this location and it has been the worst experience I've ever had. I drove off the lot with a burnt out head lamp, which I discovered when I arrived home. The following week, I noticed my AC doesn't work, the heater, or defrost doesn't work. The entire control box does not work. Also, the drivers side mirror controls do not work. Their service dept marked on the 50 point inspection that all of these items worked. Ultimately, AutoNation Honda agreed to fix these items. I left the vehicle with them to be repaired. I picked up the vehicle from service and later noticed they did not fix the AC, heater, defrost, or mirror. I called and spoke with a manager and they stated we recharged your AC but will not fix the rest of the items. I explained to them I can't turn on the AC so what is the point of recharging it. They told me I would have to pay to have the control panel working...even after they agreed to fix these items. TERRIBLE Customer Service and they do not stand by their vehicles. Nor do they do the 50 point inspection or if they do, they are extremely deceitful.

Avoid at all cost! We took our Honda Fit to the Autonation Honda dealership for some safety recalls, a tune-up (sparkplugs, wires, distributor & replacing the valve cover gaskets), break-job and to fix the AC which had stopped blowing cold and had to be partially replaced. For these services they charged $3200, but we were willing to pay a little more knowing it would be done with official Honda parts by the Honda experts. WRONG! In the week since we have had the car back, the AC blows cool not cold, the engine is miss-firing on a cylinder, either from the sparkplugs not being gapped properly or from the tech allowing debris to get into the valves when he had the cover off, and one of the rotors is making a grinding noise from a botched break-job. Took it back to the shop and they refuse to warranty their work!! Not only that, but it turns out they didn’t use Honda parts but charged Honda rates. In fact, one part was backordered so they had a tech clean & oil the old part “really well” and charged us the price for the new part!! Plus that part that the tech cleaned up, is squeaking. The shop wants us to pay for these repairs again if we want the issues they caused addressed. We could not be more sick. We spent double what we would have paid elsewhere and the car is in worse shape for it. From using discount parts, to having techs refurb parts while charging for new, and then refusing to correct the mistakes of their mechanics…. This place is an absolute disaster and 100% dishonest!!!

I've visited this dealership several times over the past 10 months or so and I've always been happy with their service. However, I went in for an oil change last week and was surprised by their hard push to "upsell" everything. This was for wiper blades, alignment, filters, and who knows what else. What should have been a one-minute check-in, turned into more than five minutes as I had to address and decline each of their recommended services. The final straw was when they tried to sell me some super additive for my gas tank and another super additive for my oil reservoir. These little cans (maybe about 7 ounces each), were selling for $20 and $28 each. Since my car only has about 12,000 miles on it, I declined. I may need to try the downtown dealership.

I decided to buy a new CRV-2007 one morning and went to my daughters house to pick them up to go with me. This would be the first time I shopped for a car and bought it by myself. We stopped at several car lots but no one came out to see what we wanted so we drove to the AutoNation Honda in the Valley and told them I was looking for a red 2021 CRV and would you believe it they had ONE on the lot. Jesus was a wonderful salesman from start to finish. I didn't trade in my 2007 because I sold it to my granddaughter. It was a wonderful car and she will be so happy. Jesus explained all about the 2021 and took us for a test drive and I was sold. He and all the staff at AutoNation Honda could not of been nicer. Jesus drove my new car to my home and I drove the old one. I thought that went well beyond what was expected. Purchased a certified used minivan here. Have had multiple issues with the mechanics at this location. When we brought the van home, I gave it a quick once over in the driveway. They sold us the van with a nearly dead battery (drained after keeping the dome light on ~10 min), a filthy air filter (some rodent was using the housing to store acorns), and a dirty cabin air filter. They made it right after I notified them. 2018 They also torqued the oil pan drain plug on so hard I could not remove it at home, but they did give a us a free oil change after I complained. Early 2020 Finally, brought the van in to change some fluids. Tech (Manny) and adviser (David) lied to me, and told me the cabin air filter needed replacement, even though I had personally changed the filter about two weeks before (2021). Three distinct, separate issues with this dealership, all related to the shop.

But it's gonna take a minute. I think they "checked" on us 7 times while trying to get that together. I felt rushed. I was getting frustrated. Finally get everything done, time to sign our life away. Payment is $100 more a month that we were quoted initially. Ok. Sucks, but ok. Car is FILTHY. Wonderful people, and I would give this place a perfect rating, except for one thing: While I waited for my car to be serviced and sat in a very comfortable lounge, my ears were assaulted with awful music--if one can call it "music." While hard metal rock may have appealed to some of the 23-year-old salesmen on the floor, it is obnoxious to the vast majority of customers. I am in my sixties, and there was another woman in the waiting area while I was waiting who was perhaps in her fifties, and we were both very irritated by the choice of music being played. I can guarantee you that if I had come into AutoNation Honda to purchase a car, and had been met with such noise as was being played, I would have walked out and gone elsewhere to buy a car. While you undoubtedly have some customers who are very young, I would guess that most of your customers are over thirty, and likely over forty. It was very unpleasant to have to listen to music like that. It's not something that decent people want to hear. That is my only complaint, and I was very pleased with everything else about AutoNation Honda.

I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here for service. They told me i needed new rear brakes and would give me a discount that would put me around $280 total cost. I dropped my car off at 9am. while i was waiting I could hear an employee in the room next to the waiting room yelling at someone on the phone for at least 20 minutes . Very unprofessional. Anyways after 6 long hours of waiting for my car they gave me a total of $550 !!!! i was very upset as i figured i would be paying around 300 tops. Just for rear brakes !!! ive been a loyal customer since 2013 when i bought my car. I will not be returning here. they rip you off anyway they possibly can.

I was very impressed from the very start of my contact with AutoNation Honda of Spokane Valley. Brian Wall, the Sales Manager, provided me with the best pricing right out of the gate without the typical back and forth that most car buyers associate the process with. My research had dictated the exact model, trim and color that I wanted and not only did the dealership have my dream vehicle in stock, but they also offered the best price. I had contacted new Honda dealers in the Seattle area and 2 dealers within less than 40 miles of or home. Their best pricing was not competitive and more importantly both dealers said that AutoNation wouldn't sell the car at a loss. I am driving a brand new Honda AWD CR-V EX-L that had less than 30 miles when I bought it. It had been detailed, the gas tank was full and my salesman also gave me a tutorial on the onboard computer. On my drive home, I averaged over 33 miles per gallon for my 2.5 hour drive. Great dealership, great personnel and great deal! Isn't that what we all want??

I brought my 2012 ridgeline in on or about 7-21-20 and the technician could find the source of the noise. I left on nearly a 800 mile trip in 100 degree weather on 7-23-20. Going up vanage hill my check Engin light came on. I li,per into harvest Honda in Yakima Wa. They found that the technician who adjusted my valves left dome bolts off the top half of my engine. No other trouble on trip other than it took nearly 2 hours longer for the detour. I took my ridgeline Back for an oil change and picked a bone with them over the unexpected stop with check engine light in Yakima. I got a complimentary oil change and they found the mysterious noise. The entire right strut assembly was loose! They did?t have the parts so they had to order them! Not sure what type of danger there is driving a vehicle with a loose strut assembly.

I would give this star a zero if possible. Extremely hard to work with. One day they told us our dealer was getting fired, another day he called us, another day we were working with upper management, and today we were told there was an error in the paperwork and we needed to completely restart the process. Three weeks to buy a car. Byron, Kara, Jerry, and Jeremy were the people I worked with. Each time I would contact my last point of contact and be directed to a new point of contact. I would understand if it was related to COVID-19 but was just one miscommunication on top of another. I really hope whoever owns this business can help run it effectively.

I bought at Honda CRV the end in January and it has nothing but a hassle since. Paperwork was not done correctly the first time for financing and had to go back and sign some of the paperwork again. Waited for two hours when came back in and was told I would not have to wait cause I had a sick kid at home. Then called 3 times cause my temporary was expiring and plates had still not come. Instead of looking into it I kept getting oh just wait. Told them that temporary expired on Wednesday and I am off Mondays and I work 10 hour days so if I could get that temporary on my day off that would be best. Then got a call while at work on Tuesday day before temporary expires and told that I need to come sign something before they can get plates because mileage was incorrect on the paperwork. If they would have looked into this the first time I called with concern of plates not being in yet I could have went in on my day off to sign that paper. Every time I called i was told “it’s not my fault”. I went in Tuesday evening to sign that paper and spoke with a finance person who told me over and over he was going to make this right and was going to speak with store manager in the morning cause this is not ok. Never got a call. Never heard anything more until I went in a week later for service appointment and spoke with store manager and he didn’t even make eye contact and said oh I am sorry hopefully that don’t happen again and basically walked away. I was very upset that he didn’t even care about my situation. I bought a house and other cars in the past and have never had to deal with this. I would not recommend buying a car from here.

Bought my civic from here when it was appleway and shouldn’t have returned since they gave me the run around with that purchase but stupidly we went there to buy my pilot also. I wanted to order my car built how I wanted it and they claimed that isn’t something people do anymore. Funny how I have several friends and my parents have bought cars that they ordered to their liking. The service department is not good either. I think they have new techs every time we go back and the advisors seem to change frequently also. Took my car in because there was a screw in the tire and the tech couldn’t find anything, I went out and pointed right to it with the advisor. Today my car has been there for almost 4 hours for services A 1 and 2. Who takes four hours for that. The only positive is some of the people are friendly there. Just do your research and look around before purchasing from here.

Autonation is great when it comes to buying a car. However, their service after the sale is lacking. I bought 3 cars from Autonation in the last year. 2 weeks after I bought a brand new car, I was hit on the freeway. I asked autonation to do an appraisal of the car for me for a diminished value insurance claim and was told that they don't do that. It would take them five minutes. I consider it a very little ask. Carmax was very helpful.

During my last visit with the dealership I found my experience to be unsatisfactory. It was a six time I?ve had my vehicle in and the sales person only wanted to sell me a new van claiming that I may have received a lemon. The service department was at times difficult to communicate with. In the end what I brought my van in for was what they claimed normal quirks of the van and when leaving I told the service department I feel dumb for having brought my van in at all since the issues were deemed normal. Their responce was...?um yea?. I do not feel like I will be returning to this dealership in the future.

Service Department: After putting on my snow tires (on wheels, stored at their location, with decorative hub cap inserts) the next day my Tire Pressure Monitoring System light came on. It should have been re-calibrated as part of the service as per the Owner's Manual. Within two days one of the decorative hub cap inserts came off (where I don't know) with no particularly hard driving and I have to replace it now. I wasn't offered a free Multi-Point Inspection and should have been. I wasn't asked to set up my next service appointment and should have been. I bought my Accord here and have been a service customer for 5 years.

The service part was great but not when they parked my car in the entry way into the service department after it was done and dropped the garage door on the back window. The door didn't do seem to break anything but caused some deep scratches in the window. They were apologetic and didn't charge for the service and are going to try and buff out the scratches or replace the window. The thing is they shouldn't have been careless enough to part a car in a garage door opening. Pretty scary to walk out to see the door coming down on your car and a dude running over and trying to lift the door off after it had hit the window.

Maybe it has been thru a dust storm, but a new car should be delivered clean. Had to clean the dust myself, and go to the car wash to clean it up.

I did my research on the car before going to the dealership. Edmunds had it priced at 36 without ?certified? status. I told this to the salesperson who promptly told me that they DO NOT negotiate prices. I settled for the price they gave, which was too much. Even at 36 on Edmunds, I priced the car as LOADED, which, I found out later, it wasn?t. I like my car. They gave me a good rate on the loan (because I have awesome credit). Would I buy another car from them. Probably not. I need to be able to talk to the sales people and have a reasonable conversation. They overpriced the car b/c it was beautiful and desirable . Good for them. They made their money. That?s what they primarily care about.

The whole buying experience was great for my 2009 Honda CRV. The price was very reasonable, and the sales person went over the 125 point inspection of the car. We went for a 25 mile test drive of the car, going through all kinds of driving conditions. So far the car runs great and all problems on the 125 point inspection were fixed properly. Front windshield had some problems that were repaired before we drove the car home. Extremely satisfied with the customer service at Autonation Honda Spokane Valley.

I was there for far too long waiting to get in to the finance person--a Cory Moore. That went ok but when he offered the optional vehicle protection plan (very expensive) I questioned that--finally decided to get the least expensive on for almost $4000. By that time I was exhausted. I decided I did not need this plan, and two working days later, I called him to tell him I wanted to cancel the plan, and left a message for him to please call me and left my phone number. Did not hear from him so I called again 2 days later--he still did not call. Then a manager got involved, and said he would get in touch with Cory. Again nothing happened.. So I had to drive there to see Cory Moore-a 3 hour roundtrip drive)- to see him in person to sign a single piece of paper to cancel the protection plan. This all took 2 weeks of complete nonsense on Auto Nations part.

He was nice and happy and helpful. until we got to the add-ons. I declined them. then he turned into a toddler and starting throwing a fit. Coupled with the fact his office reeeked of some over powering esssential oils we just wanted out of there. Fast forward a week and we find out that he never submitted any financing paperwork correctly and the bank denied us because they were missing paperwork. We had to do all that ourselves. I will be going back in and asking for all the fees they charged us back.

Fit me in without appointment for a dead battery. Still under warranty and replaced my battery and washed my car. They explained to me that you need to drive your car every couple days to keep the battery charged ( not just start it). The weather has been horrible so I don?t drive my car everyday. I had not driven it for 3 weeks. This is the second time this winter my battery went dead. Killed my battery. This is something that should be explained when you purchase a brand new car.

I'm new to Spokane. I first went to the other Honda dealer in town for a tire pressure light indicator, and was treated horribly, made an appointment, came in, waited 1 1/2 hours, then discovered they hadn't even taken my car in to start service, and didn't plan to anytime soon! So I left, went to AutoNation Honda the next day, and got great, courteous service.... When my oil change indicator came on 2 days ago, I called, got an appointment for yesterday, the car was serviced immediately, and they also checked all the fluid in all other parts: brakes, steering, transmission, etc, and made recommendations. Both Drew and Tyler in Service were great! My only complaints: the oil change price is high. Northwest Honda in Bellingham ran regular sales of $39.95 for oil changes (I assumed that was a Honda corporate promotion, maybe not). Also, the newspapers in the waiting room were all from Dec and Jan! But these won't keep me from getting service here, I was very happy with both Service Department encounters.

I have to say, I bought the oil change package with my brand new Honda Civic back in 2015, but as little as I drive, I use them very sparingly; found out recently they were going to expire (not sure why since I paid for them). David at Service Department was kind enough to let me know when I came in this weekend that I really did not need an oil change, and would honor my purchase. Thank you David!

DON’T buy from AutoNation Honda!! They are LAIRS AND CHEATS! Stay clear of salesperson Joshua Vrieling and General Manager Steve St. Germane. We went to purchase a Diesel car (for our 18 year old daughter) that they over and over again stated that it was a diesel car however after putting diesel in the “diesel “ car they sold us we found out it is NOT a diesel. We called Joshua and he apologized said he told us wrong and that he swore that is what his paperwork said and he would make it right when Steve got back into the office. However, Steve states it’s not his problem and they refuse to help correct there error. Now Joshua is playing dumb and refusing to take our calls. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY ANYONE WANTS TO DEAL WITH, THEY WILL SCREW YOU.

I had found several vehicles that I was interested in and stopped at Auto Nation Honda on Sprague in Spokane. The people came out to greet us, showed us the vehicle that I was interested in, gave us the keys, how to's, and we headed out for a test drive. We went for several miles to try it on the freeway and streets. Went back to their office, signed the paperwork, the car was washed and the fuel tank was filled on we were on our way home to Central Washington.

I called Autonation Honda and talked with Nick Gunlap,and asked if a certain trim/color CRV was available. Nick had the car waiting for me to test drive an hour later. Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable during the test drive and during the negotiation of the sell price. Nick spent at least 40 minutes showing me all the bells and whistles and hooked up my phone to Bluetooth. From start to finish, Nick and the staff at Autonation Honda were friendly , efficient and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend a friend to purchase a vehicle from Nick.

Went to AutoNation Acura May 10th, and talked with salesman, Ron Criscione, and test drove a 2009 Chevy Impala. Loved the car. Excellent customer service from Ron. Manager, Brian Pinick, was also terrific. Was very helpful, very pleasant and went the extra mile. The next day, the " Service Air Bag " popped up. Took the car back and Ron had me take the car immediately to the service department. They had to order the replacement part. Car went in Wednesday and I picked it up Wednesday. I would have even gone $2,000 less but he did not even entertain the offer. How's that for "customer care"? You have instilled my belief that car sales is a racket and we have no reason to believe that you care about the customer. This review will spread via social media like the flu. Spokane is NOT a big place and your reputation is already tarnished by the reviews I've read.

Salesmen was good in finding the car that was within price range and what I was looking for. Then it went downhill from there. Trade in on my used vehicle less then Kelly Blue book while taking $300 off for cracked windshield while selling me a vehicle with chipped windshield. Car had to be detailed twice and still was a poor job. Finance manager guilted a service plan saying it can be removed easily if I changed my mind. Took over ten emails, five calls and finally coming into the office to get it removed which I am still waiting for the reimbursement for the financed amount. Also had to come in asking for plates when I never received a phone call of them coming in. Poor communication, poor buying experience and will never recommend anyone to use this dealership. Car runs rough even though it was ?checked? out. Thought I would be more confident buying from a dealership but now feel a private owner would have been better.

I'm in a great position to buy any vehicle of my choosing - current vehicle is paid off and runs great. So my choice was to bide my time and do my homework. For two years I've watched the market on my choice: Toyota Tundra SR5, 5.7l, Double cab, with off-road package in white or charcoal. I've made plenty of calls and asked plenty of questions and then decided this was the month to treat myself. At 8:45 this morning I reached out to AutoNation over a CarGurus posting (list price: "fair"). At 9:36 I got a call from a salesman. After getting more information and asking for pictures I received a spec sheet. Said sheet touted the ever gimmicky marketing ploy of " no-haggle, one price approach on all pre-owned vehicles". I wrote back the saleman stating " I see the "no-haggle, one price approach...... to ensure you get a fair price every time." statement. Keyword appears to be "fair" not "great". I'd like a GREAT offer. My own research shows the cash value of this truck is between $##,### and $##,###. You'll have to come down on the price for me to consider this truck. ...That's when things went south. Saleman writes back: "The prices on our pre-owned stock are 1Price. That means we've built-in the discounts ahead of time as a service to our customers (turns out 90% of our customer's don't enjoy back-and-forth negotiation and haggling), so that you're guaranteed a fair-price, and that price is fixed. I would argue that this Tundra is priced really great! Black Book value is $##,###, and KBB is showing $##,###. The truck isn't fully stock, and has running boards, a 3"/4" lift(can't remember which), a cold air intake on it that is increasing it's value, AND it is Toyota Certified (you can learn about that here) which also increases it's value and carries with it a warranty that is better than on the new ones." Well... he certainly has his markety, gimmicky, condescending, but most importantly patronizing tone down.... yep buddy... you just lost me at "learn". My response: "My offer (bottom line out the door) is $##,###. I don't need to "learn" what Toyota Certified means. I've spent the last two years researching what I want, I'm not in any hurry. If you don't want to work with me over a negotiation for a better price keep me in mind for any future: 2014-2017 Toyota Tundras (SR5, 5.7l, double cab, off-road package in either white or charcoal gray) you may run across." ...and an attempt at recovery from him: "I apologize if I came off patronizing. That was not my intent! I find that a lot of my customers dont know what Toyota CPO means. I probably should have worded that differently. Ha! I would love to work with you in negotiation if I could, but my hands are tied. Its a national corporate pricing theme. Ill do a search for you and see if I cant find something that matches your specs." Hmmm.... "hands are tied. Its a national corporate pricing theme" WOW, what a phenomenally poor business model. There are 5 other trucks listed on the West side and in the Portland area I'm interested in. I've busted my ass and saved and did my homework for 2 years - now is the time to treat myself. I'll take my business from place to place until I land a deal where BOTH parties win. I appreciate your time today. Nothing further need." I guess the salesman didn't understand that while I was taking care of financing and waiting for pictures (those finally arrived at 2:29) I was reading reviews where people had successful negotiations with other sales people there. I guess the salesman didn't understand I had already arranged to start driving up there at 3 pm today HAD he just worked with me. I guess the salesman didn't understand this was a guaranteed sale if the truck checked out and he got it down to better than a "fair" price.

Was a great car buying experience. Nick Dunlap, our salesman, was knowledgeable, great personality, and was an enjoyable afternoon at AutoNation, Spokane Valley. Love our CR-V including the way it drives, all the options, how it handles in snow, and gas mileage. One of my favorite options is cruise control option that slows your vehicle down to car lengths you select, then resumes the speed when car you are behind speeds up. Giving the whole experience a big fat 10.

I should have read some of the reviews before our purchase. Actually, everything was great until the actual purchasing part. I was paying cash but still was told I had to go thru all the paperwork. They asked for my social security number. I said no, as I was paying cash. The salesman told me it was just for the paperwork but at NO time said that they were actually RUNNING MY CREDIT. I was NEVER told that they did that or were going to until AFTER I purchased the car and was checking my credit online. There it was, a credit inquiry from AutoNation Honda Spokane Valley. I was shocked and upset naturally. Had I wanted my credit checked I would have financed the vehicle. After leaving messages, and not getting return phone calls, I began emailing the sales manager, the salesman and another member of the management team. I was told they legally had to with the new laws on dealerships for xxxxxxxxxx. Ok, I researched it and its most of the way true. However, my issue wasn't that they did it, it was that they didn't disclose that it was 100% necessary for it to be run if I wanted to buy a car there whether I was paying cash or not. They didn't give me the choice. Had they, I probably would have left and found a car from a private seller. It's an integrity issue. And one of the many reasons people don't like dealing with dealerships. Untrustworthy. The car has been having strange issues including the check engine light turning on the very next day, car not wanting to start and so on. I email. They ignore me. But all the while they have been sending me email after email ASKING me to leave feedback. I purposely haven't because I wanted to give them a chance to address the issues with the vehicle. They ignore us. We even left 2 voice mails for the General Manager, Russ Norman. IGNORED. Nothing. No responses to emails. No phone calls. Which means that I have no choice but to leave negative feedback and share our experience. They were all nice when they were "courting" us to be a buyer and literally as soon as we did, it's been awful. I would not recommend anyone look to purchase or lease a vehicle from this dealership.

Went to get an oil change knowing that they were going to have to do replace an air filter and do a couple extra things. When I made he appointment the lady in the phone was very helpful and told me it would be $140 total. The day of the appointment Tyler, the service man, gave me a 10 % discount because I forgot my coupon at home and even though the car's computer said I needed a new cabin air filter, told me it was good to go for awhile still. My bill ended up being $83.

Went to a couple different dealerships and all had great customer service, including AutoNation. In our case it came down to inventory. AutoNation had it and the others didn't. Again the customer service was great. Paperwork was a little arduous, but that was mostly due to our situation. In the middle of the process we thought that we maybe wanted to switch to a white car, this was a hassle for them but they worked with us through our options, and in the end it worked out. I would recommend.

Our salesperson, Nicholas Dunlap, called me quickly after expressing interest in one of their used vehicles I found online through CarFax and put a hold on it until I could drive clear to Spokane from Oregon to check it out the next day. We called another local Honda dealer told them the options we were looking for and the price payment we would like to be in. They said that that wasn't going to happen. Then we call the Honda nation and talked to Nick. He said that would be hard to find and that he would do his best and call me back. I had owned my car for 10 years when I finally decided to get a new one. I found the car I wanted. The salesman did everything he could to help me with this car. However the finance lady Michelle, had everything messed up on the first paperwork. So we changed a couple of things and resigned the paperwork. Come to find out that while she was on her vacation the paperwork was still wrong, and i had to sign it a third time for her incompetence from the very beginning. This is the first car that I have ever financed and i can definitely without a doubt say that I will never use auto nation honda again to find myself a car. Nor would I ever refer anyone there.

When we signed papers, we were pleasantly surprised the license and taxes had already been included rather than added on after the deal was completed. Since the car was a gift to a family member to be picked up on a different day, when he arrived, the car was ready to go, filled with gas and had a commercial sized bow on the hood. We were looking for a vehicle it would be easier for my husband to get in and out of. We asked about using our car as a trade in on a lease. After everything being answered and explained we were not able to lease a new vehicle but we're given a great option of purchasing one we qualified for. I live in MT and hands down Kody Sturgis played no games. He gave me a price and he was true to his word. Here is the home run. Kody arranged an associate to drive to MT and pick my wife and I up! Drive us back to the dealership in Spokane. And guess what there was no surprises.... They were true to their word not to mention pick us up so that we didn't have to drive two vehicles back to MT. We were told she would run some numbers & email us right away. Having been preapproved by our credit union for 30k, we were ready to make a decision as soon as we got the email... well, we didn't get the email that evening as promised & we didn't even get it the next day!!! I purchased a 2001 Suzuki xl7 from autonation honda spokane 2 weeks ago after being reassured thats it had passed a used car check the water pump went out called the service department about repair and to get a quote we waited 4 days only to get a quote for the repair almost as much as we paid for the vehicle and being told that if we bring it to them they would do the repairs them would take it to another shop for the repair. I was told to call the sales manager but he wasn't able to take my call. Called the shop that they said they would send it to and was quoted less then half the amount. The transaction went smoothly, albeit, they need more closers on staff to provide a less than 4 hour total purchasing experience with 2 toddlers and 3 other kids under 8. The issue that I am having is that I repeatedly have called to have a part installed that was promised to be installed at closing, and they NEVER call back, except when I made a phone call to the general manager; I get a call back, and they order the WRONG PART, even though I specify in photos and emails the correct part to order. we are going on OVER 10 WEEKS since we closed the deal, and Autonation Honda has not made good on installing the part. Also, I have called to request information on where the windshield was replaced so that I can have warranty work performed on the seal that has separated from the top of the windshield, and THEY NEVER CALL BACK! Am I sensing a common theme here? Autonation markets itself on customer service and loyalty. This is my second Autonation purchase, and I want the general manager to make it right, not another ten weeks from now, but a phone call in the next week, is that too much to ask? After a test showed a low battery, they offered to replace it for $125. My wife called me with this quote and I thought it was fair and reasonable. A few minutes later, she texts me that we are going to have to replace the battery cables because our existing "3rd party" battery has stretched the cables. The new cables are going to cost $250 and would have to be ordered. They proceed to install the new battery and hook it up to the existing (remember, these won't work because they are stretched) cables. They send her on her way. When I hear about this, I'm miffed. So I call the dealership and speak to Kyle. I ask him if I were to replace the battery on my own, with a 3rd party battery with the same size studs as what are currently in the vehicle, will the existing cables work? "Probably" is his reply. I tell him to take the new battery out and put in the existing battery. In the meantime, my wife had already left the dealership and now has to go back. I am furious about the up selling of things to people who may or may not understand (my wife doesn't know the first thing about battery studs and cables). But, I'm even more angry that they sent her out on the road with a "temporary" fix. Who does that? We are a two-Honda vehicle family. Both were purchased from this dealership. Congratulations, you have now lost a customer for life. There are too many options out there, a shady dealership doesn't need to be that option. Stay away people!

From the minute we walked in the door, Josh Evans was the ideal salesman, focused on helping me get the car that fit my needs. He never tried to pigeon-hole my needs into a different car. His honest, friendly enthusiasm was refreshing after having been met the stereotypical "Car Salesman" at some other dealerships we had visited. He went out of his way, coming in on a busy holiday he had off, to help us locate and complete the purchase of our car. If you need a car, you should visit AutoNation and ask for Josh. If you need an SUV, you should definitely check out the Honda Pilot. I'm loving mine. Unlike SUV-wannabees (Minivans masquerading as SUVs.), the Pilot has great visibility and ample room. It hauls LOADS of cargo without looking like a truck like a few other SUVs. The Pilot interior has all the comforts and amenities I want without feeling overstuffed, making my driving experience relaxed and easy.--even in the snow ice. The Pilot traction and drive are stable and dependable, AND, I finally had to fill up the gas tank. With a mix of town driving and a short highway drive, my PIlot gave me 22 miles per gallon on the first tank! I can't rate quality of repairs because I haven't needed any; but I can rate my Pilot and the sales experience at AutoNation with Josh as 10 stars!

This was the first time I purchased a car online and Tony Crego was amazing. He answered all my questions in a direct and forth right manner. I never felt like he was telling me what I wanted to hear just to make a sale. Tony took the time to get to know us and followed thru immediately when he heard of a vehicle we might be interested in. He did such a good job matching us to the vehicles we needed that we ended up buying TWO vehicles! I will definately return to autonation, no matter that it is hundreds of miles away. Now my husband and I both have the vehicles we need and wanted at reasonable prices. Lastly, the vehicles at autonation were fairly priced. You can't beat excellent customer service and fair prices!

Both Meg and Jon who worked at the dealership were very helpful in making sure I got the car I wanted (since there was only one in five states). Jon was extremely helpful in explaining all the "extras" in the car to me. I say extras even though they are standard gear because I have not had a new car in 25 years, so my car is all "do it yourself." I would say the only issue I had was in the signing of the documents when I picked up my car. For some reason they wait until the end to try and get you to buy all the extended warranties. Then they try and freak you out by saying all the things that could go wrong. I just bought a brand new car! How can anything go wrong in the first year? Suppose it could, but it's under warranty then. I think if they are going to offer those extended warranties they should be brought up in the initial running of the numbers. Had I had those numbers, I could have adjusted and probably purchased the "Care Plan." But because they try and get you at the end of the deal, I only purchased the oil change plan. As far as the sales folks go, however, they did a great job, they kept me informed, they would provide information I asked for. And a few of the other salesman who didn't know me congratulated me on my way the door that day.

I used the USAA car buying service so the price was already set and to save time on the buying process. I had a pre-approved USAA loan and an appointment to test drive the CRV, It shouldn't have taken 3.5 hours to buy the vehicle. Although I got a good price, I did not like sitting there for hours waiting for the paperwork to get prepared so I could sign.

We just bought an Accord Hybrid...quite hard to find. They had one and we were able to buy it at what I thought was a very good price. The sales people very all excellent we dealt with. Even the closing paperwork person (from Branson, MO is all I remember) was a very nice guy. I was not happy to be "pressured" to buy an extended warranty at closing. I had just paid more than I did for my first house, and now I was "offered" a deal to pay another $5000 to "cover the very expensive computers, etc. in the car". This is just after I was told the car with proper maintenance should go 200,000 miles possibly. Then, after I said no (thanks to my wife) I was offered the same coverage at a very substantial discount. Again, after my "no" I was told I could buy parts of it "al-a-carte". I wasn't told this until I had said no more than once. I believe car sales people would have a better reputation if they would present this at the beginning and tell me I could buy just certain parts. I don't blame Valley Honda. I'm sure this is industry wide. They are just doing their job and we all know these extended warranties are HUGE business and money makers. We are bombarded with the offers even at WalMart when you buy a $25 razer. Next time I will be ready for it. So I don't blame Mr. Branson. It's his job and I understand it's in the industry now. I just will remember it will be coming if I ever have to buy another car. You never know at my age.

The initial quote was actually a little below the KBB fair purchase price. That part of the purchase was excellent. The gentleman who handled the final paperwork was more of a pressure salesman and we ended up buying and extended warranty I wish we hadn't after we left the dealership. Expect a smooth sales pitch at that point.

I worked with Appleway Honda and Reiko Johnson to get a new Honda CRV. They made the process very easy and not stressful at all. I liked how I was treated and the process was very smooth. I can't say enough great things about Appleway Honda and their service. The whole process was completed quickly and seamlessly I had completed part of it a few days before over email. Reiko is very conscientious and checked on my experience with buying my car before I got it and a few times after to make sure everything was going fine. Overall it was a very stress free buying experience at Auto Nation, Spokane Valley. The only thing to watch out for is the extra costs they enjoy tacking on. It doesn't seem like you have a choice in regards to paying for these "ring protector" stickers they put behind the handles, as well as the splash guards. We did pay extra for the mats (somewhat expensive), but hopefully worth it with all the rain, mud and snow in Spokane. The other thing to watch out for is the Gap Insurance. In the state of Washington your insurance company can provide you that coverage at a very low cost. USAA only charges 50 cents extra per month!! Washington, I have been told, is unique for this. The dealership will try to talk you in to buying theirs, so check with your insurance company first!! Otherwise, super nice at Auto Nation, and Meg, our salesperson, took lots of time showing us want we wanted to see. We are happy with our new car!

Purchasing a car is normally not a very "fun" experience, but was actually made enjoyable by Reiko and Sean. They went the extra mile to find the vehicle that best suited my needs at a price I could not refuse. We bought a used pilot from Meg who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised because buying a car has not been a good experience unless it was brand new. We were lead to believe that the interest rate would be lower if we purchased the service contract so we did adding several thousand dollars to the cost. Later I contacted my bank and they offered same deal(our credit rating was great) minus the extra $. Told Honda to transfer contract to them and delete service. Went to sign new papers with Honda and they had drawn up new contract with another Credit union (not ours) and said it was the same deal but NOW I FIND OUT I HAVE TO HAVE AN ACTIVE CHECKING account with this other credit union in order to get the best rate. Lesson: be sure and verify what financial person says. Just because he sounds like he knows what he is saying doesn't mean he does. Very frustrated will go back to my credit union and see if this mess can be fixed. We are on a fixed income and cannot maintain two banking accounts. Will not deal with this company again not due to seller/service but the contract nonsense.

I came into Honda at around 7:30 and Meg G. was my salesperson. She welcomed me with a big smile and we chatted about my car. She answered all of my questions with great enthusiasm and knowledge. She even stayed late when it took extra time for me to find a new insurance company to drive the car off the lot. I felt so bad keeping her so late. She went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me and to make me feel comfortable. Dealt with Meg G. through the Costco Auto Program. There was no pressure and the prices were already set. Could have probably gotten a little better deal without using Costco, but I am a poor negotiator so this was a good choice for me. Meg was very easy to work with, patient and very knowledgeable of all the cars. Meg is not your stereotypical car salesman, but listened to us and accommodated us in any way she could. She didn't try to tell us what we wanted to hear, but answered all of my questions accurately (I knew most of the answers already) and appropriately. After we had decided on a car, the paperwork started. This process took about 2 hours. Meg sat with us and made small talk to keep us occupied while the paperwork process dragged on. It was easy to say no to all of the extended warranties and added things to pay for. After we had gotten through all of that, Meg took the time to show us how to work the technology in the car (Bluetooth, stereo, etc) and get us on our way. I was attempting to negotiate an out the door price for a black Honda Accord 4 cylinder EX-L with several dealers in the region on a recent Sunday. I reached out to AutoNation Honda of Spokane via their website and received two very prompt responses: Russ advised the dealership was closed on Sunday and to try back when he was in the showroom. A quick call to the showroom confirmed they really were open, until 7:00 PM in fact. So we start off the experience with a flat lie from someone who self identified as General Manager. Next up was James, a sales rep, who was really proactive and responsive. I could never get him to commit to a realistic number, though. He insisted that just under invoice was the best that could be done, and even after I advised I wasn't interested in what the dealer invoice said (which doesn't reflect holdback, flex cash, marketing incentives, and other stair-step items), I wanted a vehicle sales price competitive with the region. James finally said we just needed to come down to the dealership in person, which I never do until I get a final price that I can come and sign for. I advised as much and did not hear back. We ended up at another dealer in the area who was respectful and motived. We got the deal we wanted on the car we wanted and wrapped it up. I then emailed James at AutoNation and advised that we had completed the transaction elsewhere, and thanks for all his assistance. The next day, James of AutoNation Spokane Valley emailed me this exact phrase: "Thank you for making me run about and wasting my time. Enjoy your Accord." I was originally upset that we could not make things happen with AutoNation Honda, as it seemed they were the most responsive. However after that obnoxious response from James I am relieved that I didn't come within 5 miles of such an unprofessional business. I cannot recommend AutoNation Honda, and actively encourage anyone considering a new or used Honda to speak with AutoNation Honda's competition in Idaho and Washington. I cannot stress enough the bad taste this experience has left in my mouth, and if the average consumer wonders what makes buying a new car such a laborious and hateful process, it is AutoNation Honda of Spokane that can be held up as example.

My family and I leased a Honda Fit from AutoNation Honda Spokane Valley and were satisfied with the experience. The salesman, Nathan, was very pleasant and was eager to help us by answering our questions and if he didn't have the answer would find out the answer from someone who could explain what we wanted to know. Nathan was somewhat new to the car selling business and didn't try to sound like he knew it all like most car salespeople do. The only complaint I have is at the length of time the whole thing took.

On bringing to there attention the fact that the car I was looking at buying from them needed a new timing belt they were not interested in reducing the price to cover a new timing belt or getting it repaired. I imagine they went on to sell the car to somebody who had no idea the belt needed replacing.

I used the Internet contact and dealt with Meg. She took good care of us. As with any purchase, you need to know and research the market, a dealer is not going to give a car away. I researched actual sales prices using several different methods, and was willing to drive 200 miles to save, if need be. They matched the low price, so it wasn't necessary. I really do recommend asking for Meg. The old school high pressure approach is still in operation, but a knowledgeable buyer can avoid all that and cut to a reasonable deal. You still have to say NO to the high pressure Insurance and magic pixie upholstery dust sales.

I purchased a car from Autonation Honda and deeply regret giving them my business. The price was reasonable. The initial salesman was wonderful. He was personable, refrained from hard sale tactics, and was patient with our questions and hours of conversation. At all times he was every bit the professional. As of yet, the car has given me no trouble. The complaint I have is with the financial closing and the wait that preceded it. I finalized my decision to purchase the car at 7oclock. I had to spend the next 3.5 hours waiting for the closer. When at last the closer came out
I dearly wish I had listened to my instinct and walked out then. He showed all the signs of a man on the verge of attack; his hue was a brilliant red and every word was spoken in a confrontational bark. The rest of the experience I can only describe as verbal abuse. His voice never lowered below an angry level and tone. Multiple times, he insinuated that I was stupid. For example, when I declined his sales pitch for dealership warranties, he scoffed and said that hed never seen someone who couldnt understand the simple concepts. When he learned of my legal profession, he proceeded to sneeringly and repeatedly refer to every other contract as a legal document. His attitude only worsened when I declined to accept dealership financing. Even after I handed him a check for tens of thousands of dollars, he proceeded to speak to me as if I was stealing the vehicle. To be fair, the salesman may have been having a bad day. Seeing as he was the only closer left to manage for many hours after closing time and had apparently been working since early morning, his attitude may be explainable, though certainly not excusable. But if employees are indeed working 15 hour days, how can Autonation work their employees like that? Its also possible that the salesman was merely using hard sales tactics. If that is so, then shame on Autonation and that closer for engaging in such barbaric scare tactics. A customer should not be made to feel physically threatened when simply purchasing a car. A customer should not feel belittled and emotionally violated for a process that results in the signing over of half of her years salary. I would never recommend this dealership to a friend, or even an enemy. Certainly I would advise anyone of the timid or remotely uninformed variety from such a mistake. I was so shaken by the experience that I had to pull over to the side of the road for an hour to cry and settle my nerves. The emotional repercussions are ongoing. No price is worth such treatment.

My husband had a 2007 Honda Fit Sport and wanted to purchase a new 2013 model. We originally purchased the 2007 from Appleway Honda so went to test drive the 2013 model. We originally worked with Meg on the test drive. My husband wanted to see the Midnight Plum color but they did not have that color in stock so Meg did a trace and called us when she found out that one was coming into Spokane so when it arrived at a different dealer in Spokane she let us know so that we could see if it was really the color we wanted. We went by and it was the color we wanted. Meg was on vacation the day we wanted to purchase the car so we received a call from Eric W. who told us that he could have that particular car at the dealership in 2 hours. I drove to Spokane and they transferred the Fit from the other dealer and I was out of there in about 3 hours. My husbands name was on the original title so they needed him to sign off for the trade in. Eric drove to our home, about 2 hours from Appleway Honda so my husband could sign the papers. Everyone at Appleway Honda was very helpful and friendly. They all went beyond the call of duty on this purchase. We would definitely purchase any new car from this dealership.

negotiated a 2013 honda fit with tyler p. who was always courteous and timely in our dealings. he made sure i understood the car's operation and details. i added on an extra 4-year warranty, but never felt pressured. in fact, when i was negotiating a price, i felt comfortable doing so. however, i'm not afraid to speak my mind --- so that could have had something to do with my high comfort level. i know buying a new car is not everyone's favorite thing to do. honestly think appleway honda made my buying experience as good as it gets.

The people here were helpful and friendly. We got the car we wanted for a great deal. No complaints! Will go back again when we want to replace our family car, and will recommend to everyone we can.
